NEXT BID OPENING MARCH 31, 2026

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Steel Rivers COG via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.  Bid Proposals will be received until 10:00 am prevailing time on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. At 10:00 am prevailing time, bids will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter for the following projects:

  • CD 51-3.11.10 Braddock Hills Safe Neighborhoods Demolition. Demolition of two (2) residential structures in Braddock Hills – 518 Park Avenue and 995 Garfield Avenue – including utility disconnections; sewer lateral removal and capping; extermination of rodents; asbestos abatement; building demolition and removal of outbuildings, trees, fences; proper disposal of materials; backfill with suitable material; compaction; grading; and all incidentals as required by municipal engineer.

Duquesne Street Reconstruction/Lead and Copper Line Inventory, funded with CDBG and LSA grants – CD 48-3.10.2/CD 50-7.6e

Submissions received from:

  • Niando Construction, Inc. – $767,269.25 – AWARDED TO NIANDO CONSTRUCTION, INC. 
  • N & N Landscaping, LLC – $1,074614.40
  • Stefanik’s Next Generation Contracting Company – $1,055401.00
  • W. A. Petrakis Contracting, LLC – $815,615.00

This project was awarded with removal of Alternate Bid Item – Library Court Paving, which still showed Niando Construction’s bid to be the lowest responsible bid. Contract amount with Library Court work subtracted is $686,359.25.
